Juan Antonio Tonda – the man that later became my father-in-law – was a huge influence in my life. He was a renown architect in Mexico and a very good friend of my father, and as a kid he taught me the fundamentals of drawing – geometry, shadows, and perspective – and the importance of always keep creating, always keep improving my skills. He was a terrific grandfather and one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. We’ll always miss him.
